Another cookout + Science Centre Fun!

I think i'm turning this webpage into a photo blog! Well, i love taking pictures! Let me try to recall what we've been up to the last 2 days. On thursday, together with dear and mom, i went for a haircut followed by a dental checkup and then we headed down for a swim at Changi Beach Club. This time round, my bro and his gf came along to swim too. 5 of us...unfortunately, my dad was working so he couldn't come down. Nonetheless, it was quite a good workout :) Think i managed to burn off some fats. Friday, dear cooked lunch for me at his place. It's my first time trying out his fried rice and there was a special dish of chicken breast cos he felt i was too thin and needed more protein. HAHA. LEAN chicken breast is my favourite followed by steak! Dear's chicken was well-cooked, very tender and tasty..and his fried rice was yummy too! Good job darling.. cook more of this when we're over at zurich next year okay? hee hee (secretly grinning to myself) In all, it was a very warm and healthy lunch!

Afterwhich, dear brought me to science centre. Well, that's because dear's daddy has this science centre card which allows free admission to 5 each time! So, we grabbed hold of this opportunity to watch 2 Omni-max theatre shows for FREE (total worth of $20 per person ok!). We caught a dinosaur and Grand Canyon show...which was pretty good. I particularly enjoyed the grand canyon one :) we had some fun exploring some of the gadgets there too!

Here's a really cute one. There's this gadget that allows you to write a note and it wld be published on a big screen, together with your picture. Actually, the intention of this thing was to write something meaningful to Mother Earth...but heh heh. I was cheeky..and insisted dear to write a love note to me. oops. And he was so cute.... see his pouting picture up there, together with his note!

oh.. and there's another cool gadget that tells us how much carbon we produce. Looking at the figures, i think we've contributed largely to global warming! oh my. that's bad. i liked our little pictures up there though. heh heh.
the highlight for this month's science centre was dinosaurs i think. there was this little exhibition on them.
and this's us at the omni theatre! :)

and talking about my insomnia, dear was really sweet. Yesterday, he lent me his pillow for me to sleep for the next few nights cos it was really soft and according to him, once you lie on it, you're bound to fall asleep. HAHA. so sweet right. And he gave me foot reflexology on thursday night too, before i went to bed (he's a certified foot reflexologist btw!)... and also taught me some techniques to relax my limbs. Oh and he was realy cute yesterday too, he actually took my blood pressure and measured my pulse cos his dad had the machine. When i saw him, wearing the stethoscope and looking so serious, i couldn't help but chuckle to myself! you're so cute darling, my personal doc! :) huggies.
