a day of par-tor-ing after our mission trip =)
During the 11 days of our trip, it was a struggle for both of us as we had to respect the culture in Cambodia, and be conservative in our actions. Being in a mission trip, we had to also balance between being with each other and being with the entire team. In between, we struggled quite a bit but above all, we thank God for guiding us through and through it, our relationship has definitely strengthened quite a bit. I guess we'll share more about it when we blog about the trip itself. So anyway! we decided to spend a day together today and we had a great time! =) Thank God for that.
Before i talk about what we did today, just wanna share that i burnt my leg while i was at Cambodia coz i didn't know about the exhaust pipe and thus, i got burnt by the motorbike when i was getting down. The missionary doctor said it's between 1st to 2nd degree burnt. quite bad huh. haha. And it's really gross...take a look at the picture. Don't mean to gross you all out, but i just wanted to take a picture for remembrance. It hurts at times when i walk and there's still pus oozing out =( i relaly hope there will be no scar but i think chances will be slim. sigh. but i don't think my dear minds so its okay hahahaha. :P bathing is a chore now. boo hoo hoo. hope it gets better soon.
okay...don't stare at the picture for too long! on a lighter note, dear and i went to marina square to watch 'fantastic 4'. The movie is quite nice! Initially i thought i might not enjoy it that much coz it's like a guy guy movie kinda thing...but to my surprise, it's actually quite exciting and i quite like the movie! thank you dear! =) and we were given couple seats hahahha. nothing special, just that there's no arm rest in between us. And we had a splendid lunch at 'Lerk Thai'. look at the food! black pepper beef, pandan leaf chicken, pineapple rice at only 2 dollars, seafood soup, deserts and dim sum for dinner. yummy. really sumptuous hor...we were thoroughly bloated. but happy. =)

as you can see from the background....today was also NDP's rehearsal...so coincidental! and it was at marina! so dear brought me to marina square foodcourt for dinner and we sat outside..so we had the best view of the fireworks and the parade. We were blocked by the trees..so we can't exactly see the stage but the fireworks were splendid!
oh and coz i was bored while waiting for the fireworks...i started to take pictures of some of the stuff i wore today, which i bought during at cambodia during our rest & recreation day before we leave for singapore. =) nice slippers hor. =) =) 1.5 USD only...
and i love this bag!!!! very nice to carry and the design also very prettty....
