matthias & davina: Picnic Day @ Botanical Gardens!!!

Before school reopens, dear and i thought we should have a picnic day at the Botanical Gardens to relax and to spend time with each other. After all, we hardly remember ourselves having a picnic in Singapore during our childhood days, or even our teenage days! pathetic eh?!

And since we needed to bid for our modules today, we met up at clementi, went to ntuc to buy some groceries, and we made our own sandwiches and fruit salad at dear's house. dear prepared the sandwiches, while i prepared the fruit salad. They were yummylicious! Though it was really filling, i must say, dear..your sandwich is so very delicious! :) Good job dear! (i'm not lying by the way!)

Anyways! we really had a good time out! the weather was sunny and nice, which we're really thankful for (we've been praying for good weather for the past few days!) Thank God! And we even got a nice shade and nice picnic mat!

and after lunch, and taking a nice warm nap, we went to feed bread to the fishes, tortoises in the lake...it was fun! there was a whole family of tortoises and schools of fishes! lots of varieties of them...and they were furiously snatching for bread from one another. hee!
