Parent's Favortism Part 2

Today, dear came over to my place in the afternoon and stayed for dinner till around 8.30pm...

As usual, my mom would prepare lots of things for my darling...and this time, they are:
1. ling zhi sui (as usual)
2. replenish snacks in my room - japanese nuts, honeyed peanuts, korean seaweed snack, chocolate granola bars (not for me, coz she knows i scared fat)
3. gave my darling chocolate to eat
4. ask my maid to heat up bobo cha cha and gave him a bowl! (and according to my mummy, she said treat it as tea break! my gosh! how many tea breaks in one day! hahaha!)
5. gave him another 2 boxes of mooncakes!
6. specially ask my maid to cook nasi lemak for dinner
7. as usual again, gave my darling the biggest bowl of soup!

And it's not easy to cook nasi lemak, in my point of view, plus it's really authentic home cook nasi lemak...my 3rd time tasting it from my maid's cooking. There's fried chicken wing, fried fish, peanuts, ikan billies, vegetables, tomato, coconut rice, fried eggs, soup! so sumptous!

i'm so xin fu when my darling comes over wahhaha! a lot of things to eat! but at this rate, you bet, both of us are gonna get so fat! =X but my mummy knows i'm scared of getting fat, so she's happily giving so much to my darling..and my darling is happily basking in all these treats hahaha!

And i'm happy coz my parents are discussing about going to Hokkaido either this dec or next may...most probably next may... this was our conversation this aft:

Mum: When do you prefer to go Hokkaido? Dec or May? You want to go skiing?
Me: Hmm anything ba...dec or may, both shld be okay.
(Pause...)
Me: Hmm..who's going? I mean other than us...auntie janet? auntie san san and family? they going?
Mum: no la, only our family...
(Pause...)
Mum: why? you want to bring someone ah?
Me: uhhhhhh (awkward moment)
Mum: MATTHIAS AH?
Me: ha? uhhhh (didn't expect that coming!)
Mum: He never go japan before?
Me: hmm..never..not japan yet
Mum: ohhh...then where is he going to stay? (cos usually i share a room with my bro)
Me: i dunno leh
Mum: you discuss with him and see how lor
Me: okay! (my heart beaming with joy!)

i wanna go japan with dear and my family! it would be so fun but i think it wld be a bit awkward coz it feels weird holding my dear's hand with my parents looking and all hahaha! but still...it wld be so fun! dunno whether can come true! :) but well! the thought that my parents are open to my darling in joining us for a holiday makes me overjoyed! that's one of our wishes for a long time! dear! God heard our prayers!

God is so GOOD!

About 5 months back, both of us got so dejected when my parents asked me not to go steady with him...just be friends and all. They didn't think it would work out. But look at my darling and my family now! My parents have slowly but surely opened up to my dear..and vice versa.

You see...God might not answer our prayers right away, but He always have a perfect timing. Just TRUST in Him! And even if He doesn't ans our prayers, He always have a reason behind it..and that reason is always for our best interests in heart.

i'm a happy girl!
