A Prayer for You

While waiting for dear to finish his tutorial so i cld call him at 12 for quiet time & prayer, i wanted to do something for him. Dear has been really tired these days, commitments over girlfriend, family, crusade, studies, and he has been sleeping less than what he needs. I saw him dozing off during lecture today, taking naps at home after sending me back, yawning time and time again...and it pains me. I know it's not easy during busy times like this, thus, i wanna be a pillar of support and love to him. I wanna hold his hand and run this race with him, cos i love him so.

Having had 1/2 an hour of time before the clock strikes 12 for bed, I would like to dedicate this entry to my dear. Prayer is the most powerful weapon, and since God has so graciously given it unto us, it'ld be the best form of encouragement I could give to dear.

Dear, this prayer is for you:

Heaveny Father Lord,

I praise You beyond all heavens and earth for the many things You've done for us. Thank you Father for bringing us through the past week, and thank you for the pleasant reminder about building a "household of faith" for You. Thank You Lord for also bringing us together, and being our first love. May You continue to guide us in our relationship, bless our love, so that it'll be one that is pleasing to You. Indeed Lord, You've so miraculously granted us so many miracles in our life, and it's only when we're still and silent, that we see how amazingly You've worked in our lives. Right now Father, I would like to pray for my darling. Lord, I pray that You'll take away his weariness, his tiredness...and grant Him strength and peace that comes only from You and not the world. Lord, I pray that You'll rise him up like eagle wings soared high in the heavens, and use him as a testimony for the NUS ministry. In busy academic times, Father, i pray that You provide my darling with wisdom and understanding, especially for his hydraulics and structural anaylsis module. I pray that he'll be able to solve his tutorial questions and assignments and score well, for You. Father, with Your holy power and might, I pray that my darling would do well for his LSM assignment and also, our upcoming GEK project. Please help us to get started with our project and make it one that is interesting and substantial, one that gains favour in Your eyes. In all things Lord, i pray that my darling would always seek first Your kingdom and righteousness, and depend on You for everything that He does and not his own might. Please grant him a good night rest, and rejuvenate him for the rest of the week Lord. And i pray for all his friends too Lord, that You would bless them richly and guide them in everything that they do. Thank You Father for being our listener, our rock, our comforter, our redeemer.
