Reminded of a touching scene

I was looking at one of the cambodian pictures taken with the kids at the orphanage when i was reminded of a scene that melted my heart.

It was when we were about to leave the orphanage for Siem Reap. We boarded the bus, with hearts reluctant to leave the cambodian kids. Many of us were crying, the kids were holding on tightly to our hands, refusing to let us go.

I was sitting right behind the bus, next to dear. During the few days in the orphanage, he grew quite attached to one of the kids. Dear was in the bus, and the little boy was holding on tightly to dear's hand. Dear gave him a cute bag from Singapore and his precious note book, where he hand drew pictures of natural scenes from the orphange. I remember the day dear told me he was sitting alone, quietly in one corner as both of us had a slight rough patch then. This little boy simply went up to him and quietly sat beside him, and looked at how dear drew the pictures stroke by stroke. This little boy did not want dear to leave...he treated him like a brother. Time was running out and it was time for the bus to leave. This little boy ran with the bus, holding on tightly to his hand and told him,

"Take me with you. I want to go with you."

It brought warm tears to dear's eyes. I was touched. Imagine how touched dear was. I'm sure he's one boy whom dear will never be able to forget. The times they spent with each other, the moments he accompanied dear when he was at his lowest then.

Imagine how much more God would miss us if we chose to leave Him. If ever you thought of running away, remember God holding on to our hands, telling us

"Dont go. Come home with me."
How wonderful it would be if your reply was,
"Take me with you. I want to go with you."
