Reminiscing the good old Guitar days

Yesterday, I picked up the rusty old, abandoned guitar once again.
It brought back so many memories as I tried to play what I can.
Don't ask me why but the first thing i tried to play was the "Dance of the Yao People". And i tried playing the super fast part but ha! Over the years, my fingertips have turned from coarse to tender now. No longer able to play that quick...plus i was using the classical guitar instead of my favourite alto cembaro! How i miss my good old friend! She was one dear instrument that went through so much pain as i re-stringed her and polish her when she's getting a lil rusty. She's one good friend that helped me to go through the arduous training practices and celebrated the joy when we got the best SYF performing group.
If not for my dear darling wanting to learn the guitar yesterday, I wouldn't have taken it out. Hahaha! Anyway, it was really quite fun and stress-relieving strumming the chords and singing as we played along. BTW...my house has 3 guitars! -_____- And my dearest looks so cute strumming the guitar. And to my pleasant surprise, he has sooooo much passion in it! I have to stress that he's a super fast learner...just a few hours of coaching, he could already strum and sing along 1 christian song "Through it all". He could change chords fast enough as well. My all-rounded genius darling...i'm so proud of u when you played the guitar to worship God yesterday. =) God must be smiling at you beamingly and radiantly...a sweet sounding song to Jesus.
Anyhow! Here are some pictures of the good old days! I looked quite different then huh?! haha...I must say that guitar was one thing that spiced up my JC life and brought me friendships that lasted till today. You know who you are :)

Combination of ALTO 1 & 2? (Can't remember who's in which grp already! haha)

Just before our actual SYF competition. We all looked so smart, but feeling jittery! Again, this is the ALTO group. Alto rocks! (and dun look at our sports shoes...i've no idea why we haven't changed our shoes!!!)

The Guitar Exco 2 years later....

The sweet friendships that lasted.... (wish yuting was with us!) =)
Though all these memories have past....New memories have been formed :)
love you dear
