Mama, Happy Mother's Day!!!

i decided to dedicate a post on Mother's Day to my mom now (@3.05AM) because i was afraid i would procrastinate tmr when i continue with my currently addicted 'e zuo ju zhi wen 2'..some silly taiwan drama :)

Anyhow! I spent a solid 3.5 hours doing up a card for my mom. I cracked my head this year, trying to really think what she would like to have...but somehow, i only could think of durians! And because durians have to be bought fresh and it wasn't convenient to go down to Dempsey Road to get on a saturday or sunday, i decided to make her a card! My brother is giving her Royce chocolates and thanks to dear, he managed to buy a box of top quality durian puffs for my mom from Merchant Hotel! He's gonna deliver it to my house early morning tmr! Thanks baby! you're the sweetest! :)

Here's the card i made!
pasting the stars one by one is really quite a chore!

Look at the little thumbtack thing! Thanks to dear's art materials and his willingness to let me use them! It makes it look like little notices on a board right? so cute isn't it! =)

with words of love written :)

i think this page is really preetty. i did put effort to do some shading!
from another angle :)

To Mama:
Even though you won't be seeing this post, I just want to thank you, from the very bottom of my heart, the love that you have showered upon our family. You have been taking care of me for the past 20 years...it must have been tiring! Many times i show my temper, many times i disobey you, many times i don't show respect to you, many times i've failed to be that filial daughter of yours. But you've never stopped loving me. Thank you for all the sacrifices that you've made for the family. Truly, i thank God for blessing me with such a great and wonderful mom. Many of my friends say you're so cute..and i agree :) you're so hospitable, always caring for other people more than yourself. When we're sick, you would bring us to the doctor, but when you're sick, you refused to go to the doctor. Everytime there's good food on the table, you would give it to us, and would much rather eat plain rice. You would go shopping alone and buy me nice clothes to fill up my cupboard... Before exams, you would always give me chicken essence to drink..each and every single day...and feed me with vitamins and supplements...and remind me to drink lots of water everyday. You've done so much, and yet, i have often take all of these for granted. Many times, i take your kind words of love and concern into naggings. You must have been disappointed many times. I still remember the day i lost my temper when you wanted me and matthias to be friends for the time being...cos you felt i was too young. Sorry mama, i knew i was wrong...but thank God, everything was back peacefully within a day or two and i begin to think from your perspective rather than mine. I can never thank you enough but i really am so fortunate. Mama, i love you. You're the best mom anyone could ever have. It's my heart's desire and prayer that one day, you would open your heart to receive Jesus as your lord and saviour. This's one miracle that i really pray, would happen one day. Happy Mother's Day, mama!
Love,
your daughter always.

I know my mom wont' see this..i don't even think she knows i have a blog. But nonetheless, this post is dedicated to her and i hope i would be more mindful of my words, and be a filial daughter of hers. Hope she likes the card, durian puffs, and chocolates!

And to dear's mummy, Happy Mother's Day to you too! Auntie, May God bless you richly! :)

Time for bed now! :)
