a peek at what we have been up to...
Recently, my dad just bought a new camera, so he gave me his old camera. Finally! It's my first time possessing my own digital camera (see the picture below). It's a very common camera i think, but am happy to get it FOC :) it'll be our camera - shared between dear and i. Thus, we can save up some $$ and use this camera for our exchange in Zurich. Thank God :)
Last monday, i went for injections (Hep B last dosage & Flu jab) at Medical Missions Clinic. No, i'm not going for missions... The queue was really long (17 patients before me), and it got us a little upset cos there was practically nothing to do nearby and it was raining. But thank God, one of the receptionists was really nice...we managed to get a slot in between the queue so we didn't have to wait that long after all.
Afterwhich, we left for town and caught 'Nims Island'. It was quite a sweet and pleasant show :) Anyhow, this's the 1st picture of us, taken using our 'new' camera.

On wednesday and thursday, dear stayed over and we kinda had a 2-day retreat at my place. Just yesterday, we watched 2 movies (Iron Man cartoon version & Shinobi) and ran in the evening after the rain. It was a good run, even though i felt like i was gonna die of exhaustion halfway through. I think it has been almost 3-4 months since i really last ran. Anyway, we ran from my house to east coast park, and conquered 2.4km. I considered it quite an achievement already hahaha. Running really used up all my psychological power...thank God dear was beside me to push me along, or else i would have stopped by the time i reach 800m. hahha. Perhaps cos we were (or rather..I was) over ambitious, when i woke up today, my whole body was aching :(
It was my turn to cook dear lunch today. And I decided to cook him a Japanese Dish - Yakitori. I marinated the meat yesterday night...and ended up cooking for almost 1.5 hours today haha. Hmmm...i think the meat turned out a little too salty and dry, but my maid and dear said it was yummy! (Hope they really meant that) :) Take a look!

Oh..and alongside, i cooked udon noodles for us too :) caught ya!
so.......
who says engineering students can't cook and do craft? :)
