Cycling at ECP with mummy, brother, future da sao and dear on a lovely sunday evening!

My parents do not know how to cycle and now that they've aged, they don't dare to try learning it for fear of breaking any bones. My brother and jen suggested going for cycling at ECP last sunday evening and my mom was quite interested. My dad was away at Batam to play golf though. But since dear was interested too, all 5 of us headed down to ECP to bike! Since my mom doesn't know how to bike, my brother and her got a double-seater haha, so my brother was obviously the chaeffeur (crap. dunno how to spell)!

It was quite a fun time bonding together, really. I enjoyed it very much but got scolded by my mom for bringing my camera. Well, you see, i was playful and wanted to take pictures while cycling. I think i was skilled enough to cycle one hand, though i wasn't perfectly steady. But still, i could do it! See the pictures below! haha. i even took the video with one hand! But mummy being mummy will obviously be worried for her very own precious daughter's safety. And i think i was too big-headed for my own good, cos at one point in time, i was travelling quite quickly to catch up, and i hit a bump! So my basket literally flew off my bike and my beloved camera was lying right in it, without the case! :( It's painful to see my handphone and naked camera on a trajectory motion okay! But thank goodness, the other bikers behind didn't cycle across them or else not only will my precious camera be gone, their bike will probably turn upside down! Phew...well, my camera suffered a few scratches but i think it still looks quite alright and shows no signs of malfunction. So thank God! With all that....i obviously got told off by my mom lah! *sulk* haha.

But i was happy that my mom enjoyed herself, even though our butts really hurt after that! (blame the hard seat)

Mom smiling so brightly, all excited for her first journey on a bike!
Ready to set off!
haha, my mummy looked a lil fearful when she attempted to get on the bike.
But no worries, your son won't let u fall!

Nice shot right! Steady! (taken with 1 hand okay...) :P

oh and this was harder. i turned behind to snap the photo.

(or did i stop my bike? can't rmb alr)

hopefully, the next time, my dad will be willing to give cycling a try! Perhaps my bro can double-bike with dad, and dear can double-bike with my mom! haha! Afterall, they are men!
