1st Day of Semester 5

I came home, feeling totally drained out :(

1st day of school wasn't exactly bad, but it was really really draggy and as a result, the amt of waiting time actually got me entirely exhausted. I'm referring to my 5 hours lab, which was supposed to be 4 hours...and because i found the lab pretty straightforward, i expected myself to finish within 2 to 3 hours! But, because there was only 1 miserable machine, we had to wait and wait. Worse still, we had to wait for the other group too because we had to share data. Oh my goodness...because of all that waiting, we actually had 4 talk-cock sessions which lasted almost 15 to 20 minutes each time. And we had to wait for the centrifuge thing for 20 minutes for 2 times. I tell you, all our patience was being tested. I wanted to scream...cos it was so boring..and there's nth to do but wait! grrr...and guo yi actually finished his lab within 2 hours?! And the TA was so encouraging...she said next week will be worse. well done haha. But all in all, the TA was rather friendly and helpful and more patient than all of us :) And yes, i've got to do my lab report again. sigh.

Despite the super draggy lab, i was really thankful and touched because dear woke up early in the morning to buy printer ink for me...and right after school, he went down to buy 2 txtbooks for me and met up with joshua to get the 2 other 2 txtbooks for me. Not only that, he even helped me check out which notes YIH is selling currently, and surprised me with a box of strawberry & raspberry sweets from marks and spencer. PLUS he insisted on fetching me to the mrt on my way back, so he waited for me for almost an hour and drove around for a few times, hoping i would be done soon so he doesn't have to park. Both of us didn't expect i would end so late. And after all that, he had to go back to school to have his dinner and then attend crusade's e-comm meeting. Throughout my train ride, he told me firmly that i MUST get a seat in the mrt..cos he was worried that some guy might anyhow touch me, and worried that i would be too tired out cos i had to carry 4 heavy txtbooks home. OH YA. And he brought his laptop today for me to ballot my tutorials...he literally helped me ballot...so i didn't have to do a single thing. So sweet right.... i was so touched, really :) Even though i was totally exhausted at the end of the day, the love that he has for me really warmed my heart. Thank you darling... i love you so so much :) I'm truly thankful for him!

Other than that, i'm a little anxious with my project groups...cos it's quite messy. Hope everything turns out well...i'm entrusting it to God :) It's also a little scary, realising that my lectures are based on the foundations of mark sayes module...cos i literally scraped through that module, and my foundations are not there yet...since i was still scratching my head when the lecturer went through concepts that we were supposed to be familiar with by now! >.< jia lat

oh well, 1st day of school... where the test of faith begins!
