Spirituality and Religiosity

My cousin wrote this on his facebook account, "trying to be more spiritual and less religious"
And.... he's so right.

Religion ought to get flushed down the toilet bowl.

People are awfully daft to be religious, or to even chase it. And the way many of them take it up is very much like they take part in a CCA. Make friends, feel comfortable, go for meetings and events; *ouch. Even those who are in charge plan things in such a way so as to encourage people to come, make friends, feel comfortable, and to go for meetings and events; *double ouch..

I've heard many terms... "Pew Fillers", "Zombie Worshippers", "Audiences"...

I don't agree, for who are we to judge. BUT, I fee, we are becoming a little bit "lost".

Many of us have lost our spirituality. Lost that connection between us and God. And we ought to be ashamed.
