Fighting the Germs
The flu bug has caught us unprepared just 2 days back, not giving us any mercy. Just as my immune system was picking up, this relentless bug came to attack me at a point where school work was piling up, leaving me with a very bad sorethroat (yes, it bounced back again. it has been hmm 2 months?), nose that runs like a tap, fever, and now, asthmatic cough. Dear nicely brought me to the doctor on wednesday evening, and the doctor prescribed me with antibiotics and was surprised that my sorethroat hasn't cured after giving me 3 courses of antiobiotics in july. Wednesday was horrible, there was a test to study for the next morning, but i needed rest more than anything else so i went to bed at 10.30pm. Dear was very sweet to stay over on wednesday, so that he can fetch me to sch the next day, to take my test at 8.20am. I'm so blessed. The test didn't go that well, cos i wasn't really in the right state of mind. My fingers were shivering, and i felt woozy. But thank God it's over. Thursday was rest day...i went home straight after class, cancelled DG that evening, and developed a fever. Thankfully, my fever has subsided this morning, and now, i've developed asthmatic cough and phlegm with viscous mucus.
Sadly, Dear fell sick because of me. And he didn't wanna tell me about it, telling me he's okay and all cos he didn't want me to worry :( He's having a fever right now, 38.5 degrees. He has went to the doctor and was prescribed with antibiotics too. Please do pray for his recovery...silly him could still joke that sick is nothig and that he would even die for me. Seeing him in discomfort and pain hurts...so, please keep us in prayers okay and do pray that our friends and family don't catch it from us. We really need to get well soon! Appreciate all prayers!
This viral infection is really quite powerful. But nothing beats God.
