Into His Hands...

Just when things started to turn out abit rosy, a series of unfortunate happenings had to arrive. Firstly, Matt was down with swine flu. Secondly, Matt's grandma just passed away today. Thirdly, Matt forgot to up-bid cors today and didn't get any module. Hence, i have to take the GEM module (which we wanted to take together) alone :(. Fourthly, we wanted to celebrate our 32nd monthsary today, but now couldn't cos of the wake...but this celebration is not that important anyway. Just that we haven't been able to spend some quality time alone for quite a while already. Fifthly, Matt accidentally drove past the red light on the way home at the wee hours, hopefully there won't be any fine.

To tell you the truth, i think it's getting a little tiring for us, at least for Matthias. Furthermore, he's down in school everyday from morning till evening doing research work for his prof as a part-time job. And now, he has to spend the nights at his grandma's wake till midnight. Considering he's still recovering from his sickness, and that school is going to start next week, i'm a little worried he's not getting enough rest.

All i could, dear, is to pray for you and your family, and to be with you physically and emotionally through every night of the wake. And be strong for you.

The passing away of matt's grandma reminded me how our bodies are nothing but an empty shell. It's the soul that God has breathed into us, that matters. Life, a gift from God, comes and go. Today made me think alot about marriage and family more than anything else.

On a lighter note, I'm glad that Matt's beloved grandma has gone back to God's loving arms. I pray, that she will rest in peace, and enjoy His presence.

Guess we'll be tied down for the next few days till school reopens. And we're really sorry to have turned down some appointments with friends over the next few days.

Well, everything happens in His time, and we'll just trust in Him to provide rest and peace.
