Happy 10th Monthsary love! :) :)
Our HORRID mid-term tests are over, and our debted tutorials, assignments and project are back to huant us. NUS seriously needs to give us all a BREAK.
Anyway! I just want to thank dear for being with me throughout this difficult time. He's always beside me before and after any tests, praying for me, giving me a hug, telling me that even if i fail, it would be an A to his heart. :) He stays up late everyday just to wait for me to go to bed after studying. And when i'm having my test, he would be praying throughout my test to intercede and ask God to help me through. Without him and our God, i wouldn't have pulled through. Of course, i'm not saying i did excellently well, cos i think God wanted the fluid mechanics paper to be so humanly-impossible to do haha. But i still thank Him for the brain-wrecking times :)
After my last mid term paper yesterday, dear and i decided to have some personal quality time with each other cos we've been so bombarded with work. Thus! we went to pa-tor :) plus it was our anniversary the next day! :)
We were so excited and elated since it's been some time since we spend a good time together, without academic worries. We spent such a happy time together shopping at Sun-tec. And guess what! there was a mega bodyshop sale at suntec yesterday...we happened to see it at one of the convention centres, and it was so massive! i could describe it, literally, as swarms of GIRLS. my goodness, everyone (99% girls) were rushing and buying body lotions, make-ups, gel, perfume, what not...and goodness me, there are some who spent almost 200 bucks. Okay, i know it's unbelievably cheap, but do you really use sooooo many products? it's exaggerating haha. and total vanity. Anyway, despite the crowd, we went to look around and shopped for a few products. really, just a few. In the end, we bought 2 perfume sets, 1 for my mum's bday, 1 for our friend's bday. And dear bought 2 body lotion and 1 body gel for me, him and his bro. It was really quite a good buy! :) I wanted to buy some make-up but my boy insisted that i don't need any, haha, so i didn't spend in the end (there's no hidden motive by saying that haha). btw, we saw quite a few chem engine nus students there as well...hahha! they're just like us, rushing down to release all the built-up stress...okay, apparently some really went there just to catch the sale.
After some mini shopping, we headed to search for our dining place! There were so many possible restaurants we wanted to eat, thus, we eliminated one by one. Well, we didn't mind spending more for dinner cos we have been eating home for the past few weeks, and plus, we wanted a nice place to sit down and talk :) After much consideration, we stepped into Ichiban Boshi. I have to say that the price is really quite reasonable for a big portion of good quality food. We gorged ourselves down with food, and felt really satisfied and happy. Food makes a hungry couple happy :)
pictures!
After a hearty meal, we went to walk around in suntec to burn off some fats (hopefully) and bought ourselves a cup of ice-cream to share. haha. sinful it is.
Because there were no appropriate movie timings, we headed to the arcade and had a good game of racing. it was really quite fun to race with dear. haha. Just a moment of excitement :P
Our initial plan was to walk around the merlion and esplanade cos it's quite romantic, but the weather turns us off. Recently, singapore's really getting quite humid and unbearably hot. Hence, we went into esplanade, sat down on the comfy cushion, and had a really fun time playing " the hypothesis game". It really got us sooo tickled that we kept laughing for almost an hour or so. haha! The game goes like this. Each of us had to come up with a hypothesis of couples and taking a sample size of 10, we would then observe the couples walking pass us and see who wins. It was really quite funny cos we didn't specify the age group. So even ah-ma and ah-gong was in the game! haha!
The hypotheses we made:
Me:
1. Most girls are below the guy's chin (in terms of height obviously) I LOST
2. The couple right in front of us would kiss within a specifc time. (okay, we felt bad observing the couple and intrude into their privacy. thousand apologies...but heh, we weren't totally staring at them..plus it was a public area!) I WON
3. Most guys would carry a sling bag. I WON
Dear:
1. Most couples would either wear jeans, or the girl would wear a skirt and the guy would wear jeans. I LOST
2. Most guys would be on the left hand side of the girl. I LOST
okay, in the end i lost. haha. but dear was nice enough to let me off the forfeit. It was really fun, especially whent the crunch time comes, or when the couple was holding hands, but decided to let go when they past us...so it wasn't counted. haha. It was good observation of couples in singapore...lets just call it sociology. haha.
We called it a day after that, cos it was getting quite late and both of us were extremely EXHAUSTED! :)
US :)
To my dear:
HAPPY 10TH MONTHSARY!! :)
Having been with you together for 10 months, and knowing you for more than a year now, i've been really happy and blissful to have you. I thank God for you more than anything else, cos you mean so much to me. Thank you for all that you've done for me..the sacrifices, the love that you never fail to give to me. Thank you for being with me and always being my pillar of support, strength and encouragement.
We have many more months, many more years to come, beyond eternity. We'll cont to grow, cont to lift each other up in our christian lives, and continue to worship and serve our wonderful master and God who has given each of us as a blessed gift. Truly, with God as our first love, this 3 braided cord would never be broken. Let's cont to trust and have faith in us and God.
With all my heart and soul,
I LOVE YOU
